ADOPTABLE

Myza is a gorgeous little girl who weighs in at approximately 18 pounds and is 8 - 10 years old. No health issues that we’re aware of. She loves people. Still playful but will calm down the minute you do. She’s not needy, but does wants to be loved and t be by your side. She is up to date on all vaccines and will be spayed before going to her forever home. We’re still getting to know Myza, but we do believe she would do best as an only dog, and will update this post as we learn more.

Adoption fee $300.

ADOPTABLE

Jenny is believed to be 18 but you would never guess that meeting her. She is a carefree little Jack Russell who was recently surrendered at a local pet store. She is understandably confused, but does well with the other dogs. To be an only dog your entire life, and then to suddenly find yourself in a strange house with 18 other dogs can be overwhelming. Other than food aggression towards other dogs, we’ve only seen a lonely little girl who wants to be loved. Although she desperately needs a dental and has signs of arthritis indicative to her age, she is otherwise healthy. We will schedule a dental for her once we’ve collected enough donations to cover it.

ADOPTABLE

Martin is a 14 - 16 year old Yorkie. When he was surrendered to a county shelter, he was covered in used motor oil. With medicated shampoo, his skin is on the mend and fur is starting to grow back. He also had a growth on the side of his face that has been surgically removed. Martin has no teeth, so soft foods only. Despite all he has been through, he is a very loving dog and good with the other dogs at the sanctuary. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.

Adoption fee is $300.

ADOPTABLE

Suzie is a gentle little girl who arrived at Miko’s Sanctuary in 2022 with slight neurological issues. She occasionally walks in circles and because she is not slightly bothered by it, we won’t be either. She was adopted rather quickly two years ago, and was returned recently to us when her family went through a divorce. No rescue likes to see this, because it only adds to the dogs confusion. Because of her previous return, we will be selective when screening applications. Although she’s not playful, she gets along with other dogs as long as they respect her space.

We believe she is approximately 10 - 12, and weighs 20 pounds. She is spayed, chipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Her adoption fee is $300.
